Little boys are made of snips and snails and puppy dog tails . . . little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice . . . my child was made of Tums and Sprite! I was so very gassy throughout the entire pregnancy I was miserable unless I started off every day with a Sprite and had copious amounts of Tums throughout. I never want to eat another Tums again, and I'm not very interested in soda either.
My son is still very gassy. We can hardly get him to burp after a feeding but boy does he poot a lot! (I only share this because he is a boy and will probably be proud rather than embarrassed by this down the road . . . ) One of the unexpected changes in our routine has to do with those feedings. I always planned on breast feeding and it never occurred to me that I might not. However my son had zero interest in feeding and after working with multiple lactation coaches and successful friends I finally had to admit defeat. He was losing too much weight and I was in tears at every feeding. It is amazing how much more joy we both take in each other now that we are on a gassy baby formula.
Moving on . . . moving on . . .

happy baby = happy mama. xoxo
