My car stinks . . . of green beans. I have a rather simple green bean recipe of which I am very fond. It is easy to prepare and cooks quickly in a slow cooker, making it perfect to take to potlucks. My fellowship group was meeting after second service yesterday and I was happy to bring my green beans. I prepped them in the morning, in the slow cooker, and headed off to church with them in the car planning to have them cook while I was teaching Sunday School and then attend services. That part of the plan worked out fine. It is what happened on the drive to church that causes my car to stink. Knowing that we would have somewhere between 12 and 15 people at lunch, and realizing that I wanted leftovers for this week, I tripled the recipe. Hmmm. I have a large Crockpot, but three times the amount was a bit much for the container. It was rather full. I carefully placed it in the car and thought, okay, I can do this. And I was fine, until I had to stop at a red light on an incline. When I started up again, green bean juice came out of the slow cooker. I did my best to clean, but the car smells. Any suggestions on how to get that out?
