We recently purchased a compass and were able to work the geocache I've been most intrigued by for a while -- "Legend of Monkeybrad" It was related to the Linebaugh Public Library, where A. and I met, and we've been watching it for some time. Just didn't have the compass so we couldn't do it. Well, last night we did. And it was one of the most apropos ones for us. It is actually inside the library and hidden so well, major kudos to Monkeybrad. And it was not a difficult one to create, as long as you have the appropriate permissions (which are important to all good little cachers). I wonder if my mother will let me do a similar one in her library??? I highly recommend geocaching for some good geek fun. You just don't know what you are missing!
