(And Typepad just deleted everything I typed . . .)
Week nine was fun. Even when Tadpole is at his most fussy, he still just makes us laugh! And boy did he let us know when his sock was empty. In fact, picture two (calming the meltdown) takes place in the backseat of our car while sitting in the driveway. I didn't even take the time to go inside the house, I just fed him his bottle right there.
He doesn't get much use out of his swing, but once in a while he will indulge us by sitting calmly in it. He definitely does not love it like some other babies though. And I'm amazed at how small he is in these pictures which really were only three months ago.
Our first smile was recorded on April 9th and it seems like he hasn't stopped smiling yet. Well, except for when he is fussy ;-) In fact, we'll be doing nothing at all and look over and he'll have a big ole grin on his face. Everything just makes him so very happy . . .
We did also sign him up for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. One can never have too many books, right? And I'm happy to support a program like this!
I have taken so many pictures of him in overalls. I love him in them. When he outgrew those it was a very sad day! And for some reason they must be considered a "seasonal" item because I haven't been able to find any larger ones to buy. Maybe in a few months?
So, during all this typing I've done, Daddy is playing with Baby and we are getting some of the best laughs out of him. He particularly likes it when Daddy tickles Mommy's foot. Mommy isn't so thrilled about that, but Tadpole gave a total belly laugh. I'm so lucky to have such a happy baby.
